sap logon to PRD system not accesible from some local pc

Dear Gurus

I have strange problem. I cannot logon to PRD system of my client. Until 3 days ago all run correctly, now I cannot

connect to the system FROM MY PC the others pc with my logon.ini conect correctly. It seems the PC doen't find host, but the other go correctly. In add, today also my collegue suddenly cannot logon to the system PRD.

About DEV and STS systems all ok.

According to you what can be happened?

system ECC 6.0

sapgui 7.10 level pacth 11.

Hi ,

Try to login OS using telnet or Remote Desktop Connection. If unsuccessful then ask your Administrator or you can sit at these PC. Check TCP/IP connection like NIC card , IP address and check connection by Ping. If ping is possible then I think it is OK.

Hello,

you can also try changing PRD's hostname for the IP in saplogon.ini just in case you have netbios or DNS issues

Hi...

Are you using IP or hostname in SAP GUi? If you are using hostname there and IP-hostname mapping in your hostfile under drivers/etc/hosts , then please try to ping the hostname from your local computer. If you are getting the IP back , then hostfile is fine, otherwise there is problem in hostfile. Use IP instead of hostname and see what happens..
