SAP HR - Companies Hiring?

Are companies (ibm, accenture etc...) Hiring SAP HR consultants in India? OR all those advertisements in Job Portals are just to show off their brands as they are hiring?

i mean with out domain,sap experience .

i all ready complete HR module of 6 months .

Judging by the numbers of very very basic questions in the HR forum, I'd guess they're taking on freshers. Whether they are aware that they are taking on people with no experience is another matter...

I agree with you 100% !!!!

I am afraid that folks think that once they are certified in SAP that they are now masters of the universe but when push comes to shove then it all comes out that in fact they know nothing or have very limited knowledge yet they get the jobs ??????

I mean when someone posts a thread stating that they have a job as a sap consultant in a certain module and could anyone give them guidelines on how to implement said module ???? scary s**t !!!!

I know this may sound somewhat harsh but it is good AND bad for us experienced consultants (i am a contractor - 12 years in SAP) BAD in that we all get painted with the same brush when the 'newbies' mess up an implementation and then GOOD because us experienced consultants have to go in fix up the mess !!!

I am not only blaming the newbies on this...more the actual companies who hire them. Guys do reference checks and back ground checks, if possible do a practical test just make sure before you mess up your system and mess up a budding career....
