Hi everybody,
My problem is related to printing using BCXOM protocol on an OMS which uses RFC server and not command line interface.
The OMS RFC server has been registered on the SAP system using transaction SM59 and the connection test is OK.
When I manually called the RSPO_CALL_OMS_STATUS function module for the ROMS which is defined for the OMS the connection also works.
But when I try to print on the associated output device (External OMS ON or OFF) I get the same error :
Status: Incorrect (Failed toconnect to host spooler)
Info: FUNCTION: 'RfcExecProgram' #Win32 error 5: Access is denied.## (exception open connection failed).
The log says: Failed to connect top host spool. Error rfc submit not supported.
The same problem has occured for our R/3 4.7 system and our ECC6 system.
Can somebody help to understand why the BCXOM protocol is trying to use RfcExec when the RFC Server is in the Registered mode.
Any help related to BCXOM, RFC Server (Registered and Started) and ROMS (usinf RFC Server) configuration will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Request clarification before answering.
Hey guys turns out this was a fault in my LOMS settings. The tasking_target needed to be changed to the external server.
Neeraj.
