RFC Issue with integrating SAP 6.0 and Sterling GIS 4.3

We have a Sterling Gentran Integration Suite 4.3 - SAPSuite Adapter Config for an ALE based RFC connection with upgraded ECC 6.0 (SAP R/3 6.0) system, but we keep getting this error when we try to receive IDOCs from the SAP system -

When in the RFC setup the Unicode is checked and same is done in the GIS adapter, the GIS app crashes as soon as a IDOC is trigggered from the R3

Hi,

There must be a problem in the configuration:

An Idoc should contain also a control record:

it contains the messagetype, partners, partner type , etc...

Normally sAP will never send an idoc without control record: can you check the idoc content on ECC level, if it there, you might have filltered to much data out?

Hope this rings a bell...
