Dear all,

i have a big Problem. I´ve installed the SAP Solution Manager and I want to connect via RFC to the SAPOSS. When I start the RFC - Connection it comes a Screen with this data:

Anmeldung Verbindungsfehler

Fehlerdetails Fehler beim Öffnen einer RFC-Verbindung

Fehlerdetails ERROR: timeout while pending for route completion

Fehlerdetails LOCATION: SAP-Server solman_CCC_00 on host solman (wp 1)

Fehlerdetails DETAIL: NiErrSet

Fehlerdetails COMPONENT: NI (network interface)

Fehlerdetails COUNTER: 6

Fehlerdetails RETURN CODE: -12

Fehlerdetails SUBRC: 0

Fehlerdetails RELEASE: 700

Fehlerdetails TIME: Fri Jul 25 08:00:22 2008

After that I´ve checked the Gateway Monitor. The GWMON seems to be ok. But the rfc trace says:

Hi,

SAPOSS connection will properly work provided, if following are ensured

1. Settings at SAP Service Market Place

2. Settings in your server (where from you are trying SAPOSS) OSS1 transaction code

3. Settings in SAPOSS RFC itself

Settings at SAP Service Market Place

1.Maintain all server details in "Data Administration" section

2. Maintain SAP Router credentials

3. Preferably maintain SAP Routers public IP here.

4. Service Port = 3299

In every server where SAPOSS is maintained - Transaction code OSS1

1. In SAP Router1 section,

Name : <your SAP Router's Hostname>

IP Address : < maintain only its local IP (dont maintain its public IP)>

Instance No. <99>

2. In SAP Router at SAP section

Name : sapserv2

IP Address: 194.39.131.34

Instance No: 99

3. In SAPNet Message Server section

Name : oss001

DB Name: 001

Instance No: 01

In every server where SAPOSS is maintained - Transaction code SM59

1. In Technical settings Tab

Load balancing = Yes

Target system = OSS

Msg. Server = /H/172.10.18.31/S/sapdp99/H/194.39.131.34/S/sapdp99/H/oss001

(please replace 172.10.18.31 with your SAP Router's local IP address)

Group = EWA

SAve to Database as = select IP Address

2. In Logon&Security

Language = EN

Client = 001

User = OSS_RFC

Password = CPIC (this is case sensitive, so give all caps)

With above precautions SAPOSS will work.

Please maintain technical settings in transaction OSS1 correctly:

/nOSS1 -> Parameters -> Technical Settings

you need to maintain SAProuter1 with your local SAProuter and SAProuter at SAP with the correct sapservX where you are connected to at SAP

Please also see SAP note 17285
