Restore STMS configuration with restore of system files

Hi,

I didn't find a direct answer yet on internet, but I was wondering if it's possible to restore a "previous" STMS configuration by "just" restoring .CFG and .PFL file to previous state/date ?

Example :

Asumption : no transports were created

- I changed yesterday my transport routes by adding routes and a virtual system.

- Today I do another change .

- the configuration doesn't work properly and want to restore to a good situation.

=> I put  .cfg and .pfl file's bak from 3 day's ago. case closed

Thanks in advance !

Erent

Hi Erent.

Each time you do a change and save it, a versions of your STMS configuration is saved.

You can go back directly to a previous version that wroked fine by doing this:

STMS - -> Transport_Routes

Get_Other_Version

Then you can choose the version it worked fine before. (you can get there by activation date).

Hello.

I never tried it.

I do not know if it will be a process supported by SAP, but it may work as workarround.

Let's hope other forum members have an answer
