reply to moderator

So, I got a reply to a moderation alert that I feel missed the point of my report by confusing it with an earlier one.

Ok, it happens, we all make mistakes.

Question is: how do I followup to the reply by the moderator? The only way I can think of is to raise another alert but, honestly, this makes me just give up on the whole process.
