Hi,

We're on WIndows 2008 datacentre edition SP2 n m going crazy trying to register SAPRouter as an SNC service.

From the commnad prompt it works just fine.

I've tried just about everything.

If you install the service as a VPN connection, i.e. without -K..it works fine & starts..however the -K just doesnt work.

Pls. help..

Thank You,

Saba.

Hi,

The router's starting perfectly well from the command prompt & SAP is also able to connect remotely via SAPOSS.

However, its the service creation that is causing me heartache.

I've used the foll. command:

ntscmgr install SAPRouter -b C:\usr\sap\saprouter\nt-x86_64\sapro

uter.exe -p "service -r -W 60000 -R C:\usr\sap\saprouter\nt-x86_64\saprouttab -K

p:CN=<>, OU=<>, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

Pls. help..

Thanks,

-S.

P.S.: When the service is created with only the -r option it works fine..its only -K that does'nt work.

I've made modifications in regedit with Note 525751 also.

Hi Saba

our problem should be in the distinguished name

ntscmgr install SAPRouter -b C:\usr\sap\saprouter\nt-x86_64\sapro

uter.exe -p "service -r -W 60000 -R C:\usr\sap\saprouter\nt-x86_64\saprouttab -K

p:CN=, OU=, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

Parameter -K add the distinguished name,

p:CN=saproutername.domain, OU=customernumber, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

example for distinguished name:

p:CN=mysaprouterhost.company, OU=0000123456, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

Execute command with the parameter -K and all your distinguished name.

If you don't kwon your distinguished name, you can get in:

http://service.sap.com//SAPROUTER-SNCADD

in add button.

Thanks for the replies..everybody..

My problem was that I wasn't maintaining the user in the service.

Once I did that everything fell in place.

Thanks,

Saba.
