Hello dear colleagues,
I have a list of questions collected by me and my colleagues regarding the 1DX. After a discussion with Moshe I'm posting them here. If any of these of questions are already raised and answered please leave a link.
As we know that a big piece of a content from SCN is going to be migrated to 1DX (big part of it has already made). I'm aware that unanswered discussions and the content with no activity for the past half-year won't be migrated.
Are there any more conditions that doesn't allow the content to migrate into 1DX?
Will there be Personal Blogs in 1DX? (Author remark – making it possible in WordPress is extremely simple)
So, let's say I want to request a new "space", if you would, a primary tag in 1DX community to post content under it, what am I expected to do to make it real?
When is it expected to have available a "Merge accounts" tool?
Can I delete my content or a profile? How?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Kirill.

Hi Kirill,
Q1: As we know that a big piece of a content from SCN is going to be migrated to 1DX (big part of it has already made). I'm aware that unanswered discussions and the content with no activity for the past half-year won't be migrated.
Are there any more conditions that doesn't allow the content to migrate into 1DX?
A1: Blog posts: drafts, private and personal posts, posts hidden due to abuse won't migrate over.
Discussions: as you wrote, the unanswered ones won't be surfaced in the archive.

Q2: Will there be Personal Blogs in 1DX? (Author remark – making it possible in WordPress is extremely simple)
A2: Personal blog posts won't be migrated unless they are moved to a space that will be migrated.

Q3: So, let's say I want to request a new "space", if you would, a primary tag in 1DX community to post content under it, what am I expected to do to make it real?
A3: The tagging schema offers a lot of tags e.g. software products, industries, events, topics...etc, so hopefully you will find what you need
can probably share more about that.
Q4: When is it expected to have available a "Merge accounts" tool?
A4: The consolidation of user IDs is not part of the beta phase of the Community. We are aware of the importance of the issue and trying to figure out how to claim different accounts to merge reputation as a first step. But please note that this is not identical to merging user accounts/IDs.
Q5: Can I delete my content or a profile? How?
A5: You can delete your content until it receives the first comment. After that only moderators are able to do that.
You can ask support to be forgotten from profile perspective, but please note that the action cannot be reversed.
Best,
Gabi

Brian Bernard can probably share more about that.
There are plans to integrate a tag request process into existing digital presence request processes. Discussions on that will begin in June.
In the future, we'll also mine user tag data to look for potential new tags to bring into the managed tag schema.
As Gabi says, there are many, many tags available covering software products, product functions (this is new), topics, industries, database and operating systems, and events.
