Public IP change in SAPRouter

Dear All,

I have saprouter which working fine currently , but due to some urgency We want to change our Public IP address which configure in SAPRouter.

For that what is the prerequisite and configuration require.

Please help

Hi,

Your description is short, I have no clear picture of your landscape. So I cannot suggest single steps.

In principle the SAPRouter does not care for which IP it is running on.

If you used the IP address of the SAPRouter in RFC destinations or client configurations (SAPRouter string), you have to change it there (therefore it is better to use hostnames instead, this is a good point in time to change it ).

You also have to check if the IP address is part of the saprouttab, escpecially if you have other SAPRouters.

I hope I got your point. If you provide more details, we will surely be able to provide a better answer.

I manage to resolve this by changing IP address in routetab and as well in network front.
