Points virus... points are not appearing or rapidly being deleted

Dear gurus,

I noticed something which is shockingly funny...

When someone does the updation of the points in a discussion, these are not appearing or are rapidly being deleted and the points number total via the reputation tab is not consistent with the display in the discussion thread.

Is this a virus which is destroying the points again? I even saw a user with 0 points - like a zombie... 🙂
