Points for tomorrow are not updated in my profile

Dear All,

One of my answer was marked as 'Correct Answer' by the concerned person who created the thread. But the points are not updated or credited into my SCN Profile.

Please have a look here:

Neither points for 'Correct Answer' nor 'Helpful Answer' was updated.

Can you please help me to get this sorted out ? Or please explain the reason behind the same.

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

You do not need to do anything.. Just wait for some time. Follow this discussion and the document (which has given in this reference thread). You will get your points.

This is correct.  Please follow the thread shared by and do not worry: your threads will be assigned, albeit with a short delay.

Honestly a moderator should have rejected the question(s) as basic and failed to search.

And the answer should have been rejected too since it is just a link (actually 2 links in separate answers = 15 points)  without context - so it is not even your own answer .

And you got 10 points where you told the user not to ask the question twice, instead of clicking Alert Moderator.

This user posted his question 4 times in different forums, and another one got as well points for telling that he must not duplicate questions..

Thank you all for your replies.

But see there are many threads where you just provide a link to reply the other thread and that thread is marked as 'Correct Answer'. Also the user who provided the link got the full 10 points. Same is in the case of Alerting the user for not creating the same thread twice.

But All, I am not arguing about the points. I just saw that my provided link has been found correct. So I should get the full 10 Points.

You know point allocation is not in my hand. I can just reply to the problem. If user will find that Helpful or correct then it is upto him/her.

Also can you please share something where I need to use Alert Moderator or something that is not in my knowledge.

On ?  Okay: there have been some ongoing issues over the past week.  Please be patient and wait a few days for everything to be sorted by the system: there seems to be a backlog in the point assignments now as reported on other threads we have been linking too.

Both threads were rejected as they were basic questions. Just posting a link as an answer is not allowed. This is also because it proves that the user should have searched better.
