Points deducted - or maybe SAP can't count

I've looked around the forums, and I can't figure out why I'm having this problem. Granted, it's just points, but I'm still curious. According to my math, I've earned 16 points this year and as a lifetime total. According to SAP, I've earned 6. Please review the screen shot to help you understand.

Thanks

minus 10  plus 16 = 6

you have minus 10 in the finance space. Do you eventually remember what could have happened?

Had you marked an own questions as answered by yourself, which was then eventually removed by a moderator?

That's EXACTLY what must have happened. I asked a question. I think a few people provided incorrect answers. Meanwhile, I found the correct answer - which I posted. Is there an appeals process?

Hello Richard,

Looks like you got caught in one of our "edge cases" where the system deducts points for the wrong reason. I will discuss with and we will get back to you.

Hi Richard,

Sorry for the late response. The investigation took longer due the strange fact that you lost 10 points for a correct answer unmarked in a non-question thread. Nevertheless, we were able to figure out the reason and reached the decision to make up the points for you. You now should see the points given back in your point history.

A known issue with our point history is that it's not showing any point deduction at the moment, which also caused confusion in your case (and if you add all your point history up now you still see 10 points missing). We are actively working to have this issue solved. Thank you for understanding.

Sean
