Request clarification before answering.
It seems to be the case with all the forums, WF is still quite tame by comparison.
For what it's worth, my vote is her for a radical change or scrapping of the points system. It did a great job of expanding the community (quantity), but now the focus needs to shift back to quality.
I hardly engage in the SDN forums anymore (aside form CC/Suggestions) because ... well, in a sense it's lost it's professionalism somewhere along the line. People don't seem to care if they give wrong answers.
Other than that I'm really a positive chap... these are unfortunately just my impressions.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Florin,
My guess is no one. I was thinking about sending a mail to SDN to ask. I am getting a bit annoyed by all the asking for points for the copy paste answers.
Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,
yo your saying is true. It's a good idea to mark good/better answers with these "stars", but the point award system seems to lead to misusage.
I'm not sure if this is a general problem or specific just to some or more SDN Forums?
I personally do not need the award system and I've talked to another contributer who agrees. We're currently discussing who and where could be a poll for knocking down the point system.
Take care and many thanks,
Florin
Hi Florin,
More and more people are against the point system which is slowly killing the SDN forums.
It has been discussed here many times but it seems that SAP does not care about the spam, the point hunters, the pirating of copyrighted documentation, the interview questions, the out of subject cut and paste answers and all the subjects that should not be allowed on forums that are said to be dedicated for "Experts".
I hope that some morning, one high ranking SAP manager will wake up and decide to "do some cleaning".
Regards,
Olivier
