Please Don't Require Me to Click on a Menu to See Whether I Have Inbox Items

With a recent update to the Community, I can no longer see whether I am logged in or if I have inbox messages directly in the page header. Instead, I have to click on the menu at the top right and then click on my profile picture to get to the inbox. If the picture's not there it indicated that I wasn't logged in.

It used to be that the profile picture was shown in the header without going to a menu, so I could immediately see whether I was logged in. And the red dot would appear on the picture if I had inbox items. So I could easily see whether I needed to go look at something.

I feel like this recent update is a step backward in terms of usability.

Thanks!

Hi dell.stinnett-christy the profile avatar is still shown. As far as I know it's the size of the screen that is the reason you can't see it anymore. Can you please try to reduce the browser to less than 100%? It should work then.

(Red bubble is not shown as I just reviewed the inbox 😉 )

Thanks, Svea. I see it now. I just have to have my browser screen sized larger than I usually do.
