pending status

i have posted a discussion in the actions section (notificatins ) it has to tell me that your discussion is "pending approval" or something about the status ...i have posted 2 questions ..it appears to me as if i have posted it in the dark space..i dont find any status information on what is the status of my query ...can you please let me know ....what is the reason
