Pasting text in comments to blogs

from Add comment button.

Browser - Firefox ESR 45.1.1.

CTRL+V for pasting content does nothing.

Right button click on the comment field allows pasting for links or content from notepad via the paste function

Copying text from the blog to the clipboard works with CTRL+C.

Any possibility to get CTRL+V shortcut working in Firefox for pasting content/links?

Tested in IE11: CTRL+V works for pasting content both in normal and in compatibility view. I don't have the latest cumulative update for IE from April installed, so no guarantee that others will have the same experience.
