Password reset requires knowledge of old password...?!

Hi - I am trying to figure out how to reset my SDN password. I can request an Account activation email which contains a link to enter my account. When I select the option to change password under my profile it requires my old password to do so...

Can someone explain to me how I can change my password without entering the old one?

If you forget your password, request a new SCN password:

1. Visit https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/forgotpassword.
2. Enter your email address or SCN User ID.
3. Wait for your new password to be sent to the email address associated with your account.
