OCS_API_GET_STACK_INFO' failed with code 20 key RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER

Hi,

When I start to upgrade my SAP system from SAP ERP 2004 ie ECC 5.0 to EHP7 for ERP6.0.I am stuck in phase PREP_INPUT_CHECK/SELSTACKXML_ASK.below is the error:

Last error code set is: RFC error system RQE nr 10 function 'OCS_API_GET_STACK_INFO' failed with code 20 key RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER: inconsistence in description detected: non-unicode length is too small

and also SELSTACKXMLA.LOG log is attached .

any  advise for my problem will be appreciated!!

I finnally solve the problem,find a note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2277716

apply the note 1029444,and then passed the phase

RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER: inconsistence in description detected: non-unicode length is too small

Is the system non-UNICODE? Have you downloaded the appropriate packages (UNICODE or non-UNICODE)?

Hi Isaias,

I check the system through System->Status from the SAP system data I see is Unicode.

by the way,my system is non-unicode before conversation!  any tip to find the root cause?
