Under the notifications, it only makes sense if it shows only one notification for all recent updates on a blog instead of showing all the blog update notification as given below.

You will notice that the idea has also been accepted. That means that we are currently working on designing this new feature. Once implemented, all updates will be grouped per content item. This would greatly help cut down the noise in the current Followed Activities for users.
