Hello Ryan,
you only get notifications when someone replies directly to your content (answer, comment etc). If someone replies to a question or blog, where you participated, too, you should see that in your activity stream. Was this the case?
.

Steffi.

Hi Steffi,
Thus far I have only seen direct replies in my notification stream. I still do not get any notifications when there is an update in a question for which I have participated, e.g. another person posts an additional answer to a question including the OP, or there is a comment to a different answer on a question. Not sure if that's by design but it's difficult to follow activities and help folks get an answer when notifications don't occur.

Ryan Crosby
Thanks Steffi,
I found a different location where I could find all the recent content in which I had participated. It was convenient that the system would auto follow those posts in the old platform because we didn't have to specifically go looking for it. If we participate in a number of questions then it is very hard to keep up with all of them because more often than not there are no direct replies.

Ryan Crosby
Yes, I feel your pain, believe me. I myself relied heavily on the "Followed Activity" and Notifications streams. 🙂
A lot of people hope, that the activity stream and notifications get a big update soon to resemble more what we got used to on the old platform.
Regards,
Steffi.
