Krupa.

As Lukas suggests further up it is probably because the points are based on the last 12 months period.  So if you earned a lot of points exactly a year ago you might find your current "in play" points dropping over the course of a day.

If you look at your profile reputation tab you can see both your lifetime points and your current points.

So for example you might start the day with 200 points.  However if precisely one year earlier you say gained 20 points at 10 AM and 1 PM and today you might gain 10 points at 11 AM you would  find your active contributor points doing this:

8 AM = 200

10 AM = 180 (-20 from 1 year ago)

11 AM = 190 (+10 from today)

1 PM = 170 (-20 from 1 year ago)

Hopefully that makes sense and I'm assuming the points "in play" basis is based on a precise year rather than a day count (otherwise it would drop at midnight and you wouldn't see this behaviour).

Stephen.

Hi Krupa - you need to have 250 points to be an active contributor.  You are only 17 points away - very close.

Best of luck,

Tammy

Methinks "active" points are within a one-year range, i.e. from "now" until same date last year. So I guess nobody "removed" your points but they rather diminished themselves, naturally.
