The old SCN allowed attachments to blogs. As limited as this was, it was.
New SCN does not have the ablity to attach files at all?
Hi Ludek,
You can already test adding attachments in SAP Answers by clicking on the paperclip icon in any of the editors.
SAP Blogs is currently supporting image and video attachments only, there will be some other file extensions too in the future, but still won't allow all formats because of possible virus attacks.
Best,
Gabi

Hi Gabriella
Many thanks for your answer. Support for ZIP / RAR files would be more than nice to have though - in both SAP Answers and Blogs. Let's not do the same thing as the old SCN where if a customer wanted to send us an rpt file, they had to rename it to txt. Which got attached and renamed by the system to .ZIP, which we then had to rename back to txt and then to .rpt.
And I don't make the request for me. The whole process was confusing and cumbersome for the customers. There were dozens and dozens of times I got a message from the customer along the lines of; it only lets me attach txt files.
And off I went explaining how to do the renaming, etc.
