Good afternoon all, my name is Brian and I've been in the IT industry for 17 years now, and I have recently been given the opportunity to work in SAP with Business One via a friend starting up his own company . The truth be told I'm very new to SAP but this is an opportunity for me to work in something completely out of my comfort zone but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm super green when it comes to SAP, but very keen to get stuck in and crack on with learning what I can.
My dilemma is a simple one, where do I start? which courses should I consider? I will (hopefully) be in the future installing and configuring B1 for our customers but could really do with some direction on where to start from the ground up. Signing up with SCN seems to be the best move so far judging by the amount of tailored information available and SAP specialists online.
Any information would be much appreciated as learning starts today, B
P.S I hope I put this post in the right place

Hi Brian,
Welcome to SCN!
So, where to start with Business One. SCN has a dedicated space for . This is where you can find helpful resources and guides, including some videos. This is also where you can search discussions for previously answered queries or even post some new ones of your own for B1. There's also the space.
The is a starting point for structured learning across all SAP products and topics. This is where you'll find where to locate training online and in a classroom setting.
Last, try search: you can filter results by topic/product and content type. Here's a sample search query for 'business one.'

Hi & Welcome,
when installing your development environment install the SAP Business One SDK package - there are very good samples (C# and VB.NET) and very important help files. you will find them in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\"
if you have questions regarding SDK have a look in the SDK forum - there are a lot of good people there
