Hello,
in the old SCN, our development group had two notification threads [1], [2] to subscribe to announcements regarding our products.
They can be found read only in the archive, but they are no longer functional.
We can not post new announcement to notify our user base. Creating a replacement would have two issues. All those interested would need to re-subscribe and we can not notify them to do so. Also the URL would be different. The URLs of the threads have been used in a huge number of documents and SAP notes.
Please advice
Rolf-Martin

Hello Steffi,
unfortuately, it was not clear to me that the notification pages would be archrived. Logically, I thought they would be transformed to blogs and that there are at least redirections from the old to the new pages. We had redirections in all of the platform changes before. But there is no possibility of redirection?

Mel

Hello Melanie,
I don't know. That's something I can't answer. Maybe someone from the SCN team can help you with that.
I think, only (non-jive) documents were turned into blogs. This was a discussion, though, a normal thread and all of those (with at least one reply) went into the archive.
Regards,
Steffi.
