Migration breaks inlined code - again...

Since I've been hit by a very similar issue in the previous migration ( is a sad reminder of that "upgrade"), I thought I'd check what happened to my existing blogs during the migration. And unfortunately, the formatting of posts that contain source code is broken again.

Current state:

(not pretty, but usable - unfortunately, the current editor did not provide a usable ABAP formatting style)

or

(using the built-in display style - IMHO unusable: proportional font, line numbers are copied to clipboard as well).

Result of migration: ABAP Trapdoors: CALL TRANSFORMATION id(outwork) - SAP Blogs

ABAP Trapdoors: Size Does Matter - SAP Blogs

Issues here:

  • The line spacing way too large after initial migration.
  • When I click on Edit, the editor displays the formatting similar to the original post, but removes all leading whitespace, destroying the indentation in the process.

When I save the changes in this state, the code has turned into normal text.

  • When I click on Edit and before saving immediately change the paragraphs to Preformatted, the indentation magically reappears.

However, after saving, the result looks even worse:

Please consider the users that include Code in their posts and test both the migration and the editing workflow thoroughly. I know it's not easy, but this is a technical community, and to be honest, that is one of the things that has kept me from blogging more so far.
