Migrating my SCN ID

Hello Team,

My SCN ID is C5167763.

I am working as SAP partner(C user ID). Now i am leaving my company.

Please let me know how to change my registered mail id which will going to deactivated soon.

I am worried about whether i can continue with my same SCN profile after leaving my current company.

Please help me out.

Hi,

Unfortunately(as far I knew) your C user ID can't be migrated right now. I also had experienced the same problem earlier.

You can not even change the email ID as it will be in display mode ( when you try to edit the email ID in your reputation)

But you can still logon to SCN with your sap ID. In case if you are logging in with single sign-on now, cancel the single signon or open in Firefox browser and try logging with your sap ID.

But as you will be leaving the company you may not get notification mails. Try creating rules in Outlook to forward mails to your personal mail ID( Not sure whether this will work)

You can write to sdn@sap.com to link your personal account to your C user account, so that if you logon with your personal account it will redirect to your C User Account.

Dear Surojit,

Go to edit profile and at the end of the page you will find save button just click it and you will be directed to the page where you will find your full profile including bio,activity,content,connections,places bookmark,reputation.Out there on the right hand side you will find the option of changing your registered Email Id.

Go ahead and do it buddy.
