Jump in number of views for SAP Community blog

Hi Community!

It is not that I don't like if people view and like my blogs 🙂

I got a sudden increase in views within around one week from around 7.000 to nearly 39.000 views:

Data Architecture with SAP – Data Lake

As not much changed, and it is more a basic topic instead of a trend topic, I think this is very unusual.

Any similar experiences anywhere?

Hi Peter

I've seen this happen when the Google algorithm decided to surface one of my posts very near the top for a fairly generic SAP Integration Suite search. The rate of increase dropped to normal levels once the post was no longer on page one on Google for that search.

If i google "SAP Data Lake" it is the 4th hit. But the blog is not so new. And measured from yesterday there is a more 'normal' increase in views. Going to 7.000 in 10 months and to 39.000 in on week shouldn't be just a google effect... wrong topic for an hype at least...
