Hi, My suggestion is, if there is one portion on this site for jobs. Because this is specialized SAP portal, so SAP jobs, full time, part time, consulting, short term assignments, telecommute jobs etc etc.

I think, this will create a better Network in the SDN and BPX community.

Thanks

This had been discussed before...No job forums on SCN...There's a lot of free services over the net...So I don't see why we should had one here.

Hi Blag,

On this rare occasion I disagree with you

Yes there are a lot of job boards, but they are rubbish mainly because they are dominated by recruitment agents. There is a definite need for a noncommercial industry-focused (i.e. SAP) board where people can get in touch directly. And I say this from both a job-hunting and a hiring perspective.

So this suggestion gets two thumbs-up from me!

Cheers,

Mike

Ok, so this is not my lucky day -:(

Well...you know what my opinion is...AFAIK when a forum starts to use "job" forums...problems arise...You get more SPAM than usual...But it's just my opinion -:)

Actually 'rare occasion' usually means a good thing in this kind of context

I agree about the SPAM aspect, it simply needs to be strictly enforced. One clearly designated area/forum and that's it. The rest of SDN is off limits. This actually works very well in a paid-for forum I am a member of.

Actually I think we had this discussion before....

I'm thinking community job forum. By the people for the people, cut out the middle man. I've often looked for something like that.

Cheers,

Hi Everyone,

I am just a beginner in SAP but I really agree with Mike's suggestion:-

By the people for the people, cut out the middle man
