Daily rates would fall.
P.S. What has this to do with SAP?

If a day became ~ 48 minutes long and the wage type for consultants remained the same... then consultants would work less (per day) and earn more (per project).

Yes, I have also thought of this in connection with your thread which I deleted. In the past, I have also seen threads deleted for lack of SAP relation, but this seems to have been relaxed now. However there is a difference between kicking a soccer ball and shooting someone in the head, particularly so when considering that an "anonymous" person wants to make fun of that which another person paid for with their life...
I did not find your comments about me offensive in that (deleted) thread. I interpreted them as your "special" way of saying "Dear Julius, ... Yes, please delete this thread. Happy new year, NXO".
I also did not, and would not, threaten to ban you from SDN.
However, I do find your statements offensive now, in this thread.
I would appreciate it if you could self-moderate them.
Kind regards,
Julius
You have mentioned the effect, but not the cause. Being a logical person, I'd need to know that before answering.
Or does it "just happen"?

All flights would be westbound to save time and fuel (*). Just take off, stay up, and time your landing. Perhaps zeppeliners would become popular again. For shorter trips that are almost purely east to west (say, Oslo to Stavanger in Norway) I suppose we could create some sort of trampoline solution

(*) I assume the lower atmosphere would not rotate quite as fast as the ground...

Well at the equator, your tangantial speed would be about Mach 50. Lots of wind indeed.
40 000 km / 24 h * 30 = 50 000 km/h

I'll probably throw up
But I don't think we need to fear anything, I'll bet SAP is already working on a patch for such a scenario....
Also, the licenses which run till the year 9999 will run out 30 times faster than expected.

A day would last 0.8 hours ....
which means you to have only 0.6 hours to do your work and 0.2 hours to sleep .. sound quite stressy .. but you will be paid every 24 hours for your hard work ...
