Is there any Mobile application for SAP SCN?

Hi All,

I like to actively participate in SCN and wish to always be updated. I am just wondering, if there is any mobile application for SAP SCN like we have or LinkedIn, Twitter etc that I can download on my iphone.

I am not sure about iOS device but in the android phone, once you are at home page of the Jive app. Tap on the "Menu">Settings>Sound

(There are 4 different notification settings> Show Notifications, Sound, Vibrate, LED)

can you give you exact way.

Because of you, I came to know that there is a mobile app for SCN

- Two concerns I have

1. The app is not as swift as other Android apps usually.. Is it because of the app itself or because of my Media Tek processer of my phone

2. Because the app was not opening, I had to remove the cookies and load it again.. It once again asked me to generate an activation code.. And the code can be generated only from computer...

This does not render it too useful as per me

Hi Ajay,

Finally you installed SCN "Jive" mobile App.

Yes, there are limitations for this app:

• I believe this app is useful only when we are away from our computer/laptop and want to get updates & notifications.
• Data usage by this app is higher as compared to other apps. Even if you are not running this app, there would be some data usage because of background process of the same application.
• When you are at 2G network, it takes much time to load.
• No option for rating stars, Alert Moderator.
• No option to share via social networks and many more.

I believe there is a bug with this app: I was recently away and turned off the data over cellular for the app but still received notifications! It wasn't a huge amount but annoying nonetheless: I was on holiday, after all.

Yes there is an app "JIVE " available to use SCN.

Please check the below blog written by to use it. Though this explains for Android , you can try the same for Iphone as well.
