Hello Team,

I published a document on Debugging on pop-up screens  in the link below

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-52606

My points before pubishing this was 693 and after publishing it was 703. Later i found that there are so many related documents, so deleted my document and my points got reduced by 18. Can you please let me know the reason behind this.

Thanks and regards,

Satish

I cannot see more than others as I am not a moderator in the space where it happened, but even a moderator cannot see much more than you can yourself. A moderator could see if there were other rejected documents from you in his moderation area.

I have to confirm what Dev already found, all your reputation history just shows 4 likes for a document, for another document, which is still there with its likes.

Eventually Audrey Stevenson can see more in the Bunchball logs

I am surprised to check his reputation...

If you check his "In a Knowledge Sharing" badge, it shows only 4 likes he got in his document...

And you can see the 4 likes is still there in his document..

And he doesn't get any like in his document which is created on today..

If he got likes, then his reputation-history tab will update for that...

Also in his expertise tab, in 20th feb, he just created a document, and delete the document.. But it shows 4 unlikes...

,

On the ABAP Development expertise card I see these details from today:

  • 2/20Someone unliked your document-2
  • 2/20Someone unliked your document-2
  • 2/20Document deleted-10
  • 2/20Someone unliked your document-2
  • 2/20Someone unliked your document-2
  • 2/20Create a document+10

If you say your points total went up by 10 and then down by 18 and that matches what I see here. Everything looks fine and it's possible you missed new/removed likes to

If you still suspect there is an issue, please open a support ticket via sapnetwork@sap.com

I think he should raise a ticket...

In his "In a Knowledge Sharing" badge, it says he got total 4 likes for his document...

Also his reputation tab says, he get 4 likes in his document..

on 2/20, he get 4 unlikes..

But in his document, 4 likes are still there....

I guess that's what they call an un-likely event...

Hello Satish,

I looked in our gamification platform backend and saw that indeed, 4 likes were removed when your document was removed, when actually you never received these likes in the first place.

This is a bug and I just received notification from Jive that the bug has been fixed and will be backported to our Jive instance. It will take some time for us to receive the fix, and deploy it. I appreciate everyone's patience with this issue.

I've added the issue to and will re-credit these points to you Satish.

Laure

I do think that rather than worrying about 8 points, your time would be better spent creating content that will give you far more than that.

Just a thought!

Thanks matthew for your comments.

Its not about the points i lost, its about knowing the reason thats it. So that i take that into consideration in future. Even if points are not credited am not going to demand for it.

Its still an issue, just bringing it to notice.

thanks,

Satish

For example by giving the ^^ reply, you earned exactly the amount what OP lost.

There's no need to be aggressive and call me or anyone else out on this. I said I would respond in the direct message and I expect you can be patient until I've had the chance to do so.

in your reputation at the expertise section you can turn the card for ABAP and you will see that 4 likes for a document got removed today. This can only happen by the users who have given the Likes to you, or by deletion of a document that had likes

Hi jurgen,

Thanks for your reply.

Please note that i have created only two documents which include my last document.

There in ABAP it shows that someone unliked my document so -2 points, but my likes for my first document was only 4 from yesterday and even today.

Incase if anyone have liked my second document it should have happened only after i created it.

so when i delete my document i should atleast have the points that was present before creating the document which is 693.

Hope i explained clearly.

Thanks,

Satish

Did you get your points reduced to 685? Or was it 18 points less than what ever your total was when your removed the blog. If the latter, then I'd assume some likes were removed at the same time.

Funnily enough, I've just rejected another blog about how to debug popup screens!

Hi matthew,

Please note that my points was 693 before creating the document, after the document was created it was 703.

Now when i delete the document i should be having atleast the points that i had earlier before creating the document, but i have 8 points less.

Thanks,

Satish

Hi Satish,

You lost 8 points at abap development forum only along with 10(deleted doc points also).

am not sure those likes are part of your doc or any one unliked on discussions.

Along with docs if you have any likes on it, those also may be deleted and removed points..

To know those history,

Go to your profile-->reputation tab---> Expertise--> click on gear symbol of abap development, you may see 18 points are reduced 20/2/2014.

Thanks

Its happens because of you got likes in your blog...

Suppose you have created a blog and your point increase by 10..

Then you got 4 likes in your blog... Then you will got more 8 points...

Then if you delete your blog, then your points will be less as 18 not only 10...

You can check your point reduction...

I hope the -2 is remove likes for your blog. When you delete the blog, it will remove the all likes from the blog. And your point for the likes will also decrease..

Hi Dev,

thanks for your reply.

But i should atleast have the points that were present before creating the document.

Also i didn't get any likes for that document since i deleted it with in 5 minutes

thanks,

Satish

Yes... I have seen that... You haven't got any like for your document...

I think its a problem in SCN...

I have checked all things...

Your badge In a Knowledge Sharing... shows you got 4 likes..

And your 4 likes is there for your document Partner Functions Validations on sales and service order documents

And you have written only one document...

But your expertise shows you got 4 unlike for your document...

So i have doubt its a system problem...
