Information about SAPROUTER installation

Hello Experts ,

I have my SAPROUTER running fine on SUN OS and now we are planning to Shift it to new Hardware.

then currentrouter machine will desolve and all the HOSTNAME and IP Address will be assigned to new Harware , whereas all the data / OS users is also copied to the new server.

Please suggest me to start the router on the new machine.

Hi,

If as you mention you will keep hostname and IP address then just copy the saprouter directory to new hardware and set the environment variables for seculib in Operating System.

So you mean , I need not to install anything on the new machine and only to set the required variables.

But do I need to ask for the certifcate from SAP marketplace, as the Hardware is changing this point of time.
