Hello SCN support team,
I recognized some time ago, SCN started using local character in describing individual name. however, it is strange as the name order is First Name then Last Name in Japan. I think it is the same situation in Korea and China.
namely, in alphabets, our name is described in First Name then Last Name - this is common even for Our name. however, in our local characters, Last Name then First Name - this is correct.
could you correct the current strange situation?
best regards, Shiroh

Hi Shiroh,
the platform doesn't support this foreign name handling.
Best,
Oliver

Hello Laure, yes Last name First name in East Asian language.
Hello Oliver, OK understood. then, can CSN pick up alphabet name from SAP's central user information? I think many of our partner and customers register both foreign character name and alphabet name in SAP's central user information database. if SCN can use alphabet name, it looks fine.
Thank you, Shiroh
Hello Oliver,
thanks. and I need to apologize for one mistake :
Wrong : can CSN pick up alphabet name from SAP's central user information?
Correct: can SCN pick up alphabet name from SAP's central user information?
Probably User Information administrator in Marketing know about those - in your market unit, only alphabet, but in our market unit, both local and alphabet names are registered in central user info source..
Thank you, Shiroh
Hello Shiroh,
If I understand correctly, you would like your name in Japanese characters to show Last Name First Name.
Please confirm.
Maybe our SCN Architect can comment on this?
I don't think the Jive Platform will change the way it displays users' names. Maybe in your case we can just swap your names so that last name shows first? I could do that for you in the admin console, let me know if this is what you want. Your name would then show 木下 史朗.
Regards,
Laure
ロール (is this correct? ;-))
