I understand that my SDN id which is "marjan" is tied to my Service Market Place id. If I switch to another company I will definitely loose my Service Market Place id. How can I maintain my SDN id if I switch company? Any ideas?

Once you have a new id you can email sdn@sap.com and ask them to migrate your account over
