I'm not able to share SCN documents, blogs or discussion threads

I want to share a document from a SCN space and select a colleague but I'm not able to send the information.

Following error message appears:

It seems that I can only send information to colleagues which are my followers - but this make not so much sence isn't it?

Yes, share can be done only with connected people. It is a platform restriction.

There is a concept of SAP Idea Place, but I haven't used it.

This discussion touches the topic of suggesting improvements to SCN platform.

SCN on Idea Place is the place to suggest platform enhancements. However, opening sharing to non-connected members would create an opportunity for spammers to send unsolicited offers and for members to make offline requests to high profile members (SAP mentors, moderators, etc): it's not going to happen.

I have he same problem and I also find it non sense.

It can't be serious that I should have to select and follow each of my colleagues and vice versa

just to send them a link to a content.

Then at least an invitation with external email should be possible.

All of the dangerous features are implemented like facebook and all the stuff which is prohibited in our company, but a communication inside the scn network between users is not possible and unsecure?

I'm surprised and disappointed.

This is  non social and no network, it's more an isolation.
