I Dont Want my Full Name to be Shown Public on My Profile

Hello,

All my posts are showing with my Full Name and not user id.

I DO NOT want to show my Full Name publicly on my posts. Rather it can show as username or other Alias, but should not show the full name.

I was not able to find any settings on my Profile to change the name to show only username.

Please make the correction asap.

You have an S-user account registered for you as an SAP customer.  You cannot change your name yourself.

You must contact your company’s OSS/SAP Service Marketplace administrator or request assistance from the Service Marketplace Team.

did you register with a S-user ID?

Have you already tried to click your name right in the middle on top, you get a kind of pop-up to edit some fields

Yes I do have a S-user id.

And yes, I have already checked all those options, none allow you to change your Name details, as you can see in the screenshot.

S-users bring their name along from Service Marketplace and can only be changed there: http://service.sap.com/myprofile

Are you really not able to maintain your name in this thing from the top? I can, I just need to click the grayed fields to get them in edit mode and finally Enter to save the changes.

I checked in http://service.sap.com/myprofile too but it doesn't allow to change there either.

I will have to email their support group.

Also, you are right I am able to change the name at that place you mentioned, but that does not change how my full name shows on my posts/questions/discussions.

A S user id linked with profile need to change the name of the S user id account.

bit curious as to why you don't want your full name but then post a screen shot which is now publicly available containing your full name?

In screen shot your setting for name is "Visible to Everyone". Change it.

Abdullah Qureshi, try to edit your answer now and you will see how far you can get, and you have only text, no picture, so it should be easier.

For your kind optimistic, you can't change the visibility for username and name.

It is set as visible to everyone by default and you can't change it.
