Best you always start with a search, you can find the search box on top right of any SCN site:

then have a closer look on the result page.

it give you the number of total hits and lists the first 10 right below.

on the left you can filter, e.g. by space. the number in parenthesis  tells you how much hits you have in a certain space.

So you can easily find the forum space which is most appropriate for your question:

Regarding the one-line-question, this is usually a bit to less information and often just results that contributors just start guessing or the first reply is a question to elaborate.
