HP QC Upgrade from 12:01 to 11:00

Hello Experts,

I am in the process of Upgrading HP QC Version 11 to 12.01 on MS SQL 2012 SP1 on the same hardware system.

I have Upgraded MS SQL to MS SQL 2012 SP1.

I have already uninstalled HP QC 11.

The installation of HP QC 12:01 is successful.

However during HP ALM Server Configuration Wizard, I am not able to validate SA Schema. I get the error message as "Cannot validate SA Schema".

I am using the option, Upgrade a copy of the existing schema and using the existing Site Admin Schema. I have changed the SA Schema name.

Check file "InstallationLog.txt" for error and installation logs.

Just to add, we don't have Lab Project schema in our System.

Also the table PROJECTS is available in Site Admin DB.

Hello,

I am facing exact same issue and have same environment as you mentioned. Could you please let me know if you were able to resolve this issue?

Also, How do I get Confidential Data Passphrase?
