How to find the appropriate SAP Product for a company ?

For a company, kindly let me know the situations, in which SAP Products need to be installed

Or in other words, lets say, there are four departments in a company(Finance,Sales,Marketing,Production). In this what are the SAP Products need to be installed.

You are asking a very big question which cannot be answers in few words.

There is no such situation where you would use SAP. The question you need to ask is Why SAP?

There could be many reasons :

- Replacing Outdated IT infrastructure

- Competitive Edge over competitors

- Improving efficiency and reducing costs

- Transparency and improvement in Porcesses

- Informational Accuracy and elimination of redundancy etc etc

But this needs extensive study and iterations of discussions because it can make a company or break it. A misfit would be fatal.

For Departments like (Finance,Sales,Marketing,Production) you would want to install but is not limited to:

SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component) Product with implementation of SAP BASIS, SAP Security, FICO Modules( SAP Finance and Controlling), Materials Management/Supplier Relationship Management Module/Ariba (SAP MM, SAP SRM/Ariba), Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Production Planning (SAP PP).
