Hi,

It is really hard to see how to tag a blog or question to ensure that the blog is shown at the corresponding topic page.

E.g. Topic page http://go.sap.com/community/topic/business-warehouse.html

It has the title "SAP Business Warehouse powered by SAP HANA Community"

Which tag do I need to use to ask specific questions for BW on Hana? There are some tags mention on the page

See all content on

  • Business Warehouse
  • BW Content and Extractors
  • BW Planning

Clicking on "Business Warehouse",  I navigate to a page which mentions Tag: BW (SAP Business Warehouse),

So the tag mentioned on the topic page is different than the name of the related software function tag.

Would it be possible to rename the software function or to ensure that the real tag name is shown on the topic page?

Best Regards,
Sigrid

The View More Blogs and Questions button should help provide an indirect clue - and if you follow it to the web page you can confirm the results match, but I also can't find the system tag for Business Warehouse, despite multiple searches.  I am afraid that accurate tagging will be difficult to manage/maintain if people struggle to find the tag easily and accurately.  Case in point - ever browse the support ticket tree/taxonomy?

The SAP Fiori CTP page (SAP Fiori | Community) seems to have matching results, however the Question by shows that is is deleted, so I wonder why it is in the search results and therefore the CTP?

Hi Jeremy,

I did some further testing and realized that BW (SAP Business Warehouse) tag can only be used as additional tag for blogs and for Q&A - not sure why.

Other software product function tags work for primary tags as well.
