I want to update my P-User email address but I see I can't, fields are disabled.
Currently one set is deprecated, and maybe removed or inaccesible.
In openSap is allowed. Why not in Universal / Account / Profile sections? profiles now that a SAP Universal ID is the standard?
As could be seen in screenshots... fields are disabled.
I understand that this need be do by a Partner admin if your account is a S-User but with P-user?? I'm only a student
At account site:
At people site:
It's a bit wreid. I receive duplicated emails, notifications, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Hey all,
P-Users are by definition a technical representation of the email. That's why you cannot update a P-Users email in the systems. Instead the support will have to create a new P-User for the other email and transfer the service "accounts" to that new P-User.
Hence if you need to to change the email at a service that's not SAP Universal ID native you will have to reach out to support!
Or if we are only talking about SAP Community, you could create a new account via Universal ID. Then link that new community profile with the old community profile at #profile_linking . In the future they will be merged.
I admit that's all rather confusing. Universal ID will solve this issue. But not all services are Universal ID native yet.
SAP Universal ID - One Identity for life!
Cheers,
Sebastian
