How to block Email updates

Dear SCN,

                   This is Somesh and i newly created SCN Account and my problem is, at the time of following of spaces  i activated the email updates and

now i want to stop it since there are large number of mails are coming. so tried the option called stop emailing but it is no use, so any one please

suggest me how to block the mail updates.
