How does SDN tag content? Is it possible to manually assign existing tags to content after the content has already been checked in? What role/authorization is needed to do this?
Thank you!
Alexandra

Hello , the other day I almost open a new discussion about this issue at .
If the forums has got a "tag" searcher, why only the author of the content could edit/add tags?
There is a lot of discussions, blogs, and documents without tags.
I would like to help adding tags to improve SCN tag's searcher.
Do you understand my point?
I hope you and the SCN team take some decision about this.

Oswald
Yup, just confirmed this is the standard behavior: non-authors can add/edit the tags on documents but not blogs, discussion threads, polls and, someday soon, videos.

All right, but if you see my ideas at Idea Place, all are "submitted" and not "accepted".
So I had already lost hope and stopped putting ideas.
Maybe you should put this idea... and I'm sure the SCN team will hear you
I hope the moderators and others members don't bother when some member replay a close topic to "add" tags with your @mention's method
