Recently I had the need to look up an issue with a BAPI and when I did a search on it, I ended up with a lot of answers. Given that we've gone through many versions of ECC 6 over the last 12 years, I thought I would sort the list by date descending to eliminate the issues where they had already been resolved.
There does not appear to be a way to do this, I do believe in the older SCN site there was (could be wrong, it's been a while) so if anyone knows how to do this, it would really help
Here is an example - I used bapi_salesorder_createfromdat2 as search criterion from here:
Then I selected tab Community, filtered by type Question and set the sort to most recent:
The resulting URL is
You may prefer to use the exact search option (placing the search term in " "), but it depends on what you are looking for.

While I agree that works and thank you for showing that and I did accept it as the best answer, it only works if you start the search from that spot. If you try and start a search from other places within the site, all that does is bring up a list of questions/answers, it only gives you the "all results" tab, and it does not show the community nor support nor let you sort it. I have given an example of where you go to see all questions and then start a search there.

I will send this along to the spot on the site where one sends in suggestions for future changes.

Yes, there are two searches in SAP community - the one which I used, is the search developed by the SAP team, the other one comes from AnswerHub standard functionality (this is the underlying software for the Answers part of the site). In my opinion, the AnswerHub one is severely lacking in flexibility, or at least in how it is implemented here.
As a frequent user of the site I strongly believe that having two search boxes on the same page is not a really good design, it only adds confusion, especially when the second search option does not add much value, and I have mentioned this a few times. Unfortunately, I have no way to influence the design decisions for SAP Community. There is the Customer Influence site, of course, where one can submit improvement ideas for SAP Community, but my experience so far was that the highest voted ideas (like chronological flat view for questions) did not happen...
If you are a more optimistic person than I am, maybe you could submit this as an idea and use Coffee Corner or write a blog to gain support for it.
