I'm setting up BO4.1 SP4 on a clean Unix server. All of the pre-install preparations are in place. How do I start/run the interactive installation?
You have to use windows box with xterm/xwindow services on unix. Use vnc server and set display variable.

Okay...that makes sense. However, which do you recommend and which is more efficient, interactive or silent?
Interactive is always easy where as silent is more close to understand background processing.

I think you need X11 rpm and vnc server installed on UNIX. And a VNC client on windows with ports open.
