Hello,

I have multiple items in my moderation list that don't belong to my tag.

I clicked Actions -> Redirect -> but in into i have Search for a question.

What does this mean? Instead i was expecting to see a list with available primary tags.

Hello Alecsandra,

The Redirect functionality doesn't work properly at the moment. But the idea of redirecting is by triggering the search request on the key words you get a list of suggested questions where, for example, this question has been already covered. Thus next time when clicking on the question title from the questions roll page, the user will be pointed to the redirected one.

Hope my explanation illuminated a bit the idea of redirecting.

Thank you for your question!

Best Regards,

Vera

So to "send" a question to a more appropriate tag you need to just edit the question and change the tag? Is that how it works?

Hi Steve,

Yes, as moderator, you can change the tag if you believe it is the wrong one, or you can ask the poster to do the same.

Redirecting is when you see a question that has already been covered, to help clean up duplicates. (But as Vera indicated, redirecting is not working properly.)
