How can I report on blogs/documents created per month for a given SCN space?

I would like to know how can I get a report showing the # of documents and blog posts created per month for a given space? My report needs to be based on the creation date of the blog or document.

Generally, you can go to the space's content tab, sort by date created and then fitler for blog posts and discussions.  Then finally count.
