Discussion threads cannot be edited after a reply has been posted to them. This is to prevent members from deleting the content, which would remove the context from the discussion and make it unhelpful for other members.

Your options are:

  • Create a discussion in http://scn.sap.com/community/support with the link to the discussion thread and what changes are needed and why. This is the fasted way to get support.
  • As a last resort, send and e-mail to sapnetwork@sap.com
  • You cannot click Abuse Report on your own content

: I see this concerns : what are the changes needed and why?

Hi Jason,

I need to delete the image that i have posted.

I thought so. If I remove the image, then the context of the query is lost and this won't be helpful for other members than come across this thread.  So I've removed the details and replaced them with blanks. Please check if it's okay (you'll have to clear your cache when visiting the thread): here's a copy.

I've removed the images on your replies to http://scn.sap.com/thread/3451887. If you want to replace them (upload new ones), just make the edits on your own and add them to a reply of the replies.

I don't see anything proprietry or confidential in that image.

But still....is there any way to remove that??

Yes, a moderator can do it. However, as a general principle this is only done if there are very good reasons, as it would render your question useless to anyone else who might have a similar problem. If you state your reasons, then maybe someone can do it for you.

Thanks in advance.

Don't hijack someone else's question. Post a new one. Otherwise yours risks being lost. It also risks people spending time answering the other person's question... leading to great confusion.

Hi Matthew Billingham ,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. Next time onwards i won't repeat such things.

I will post by myself.

Hi,

You can edit your Original Post, if there are no replies to that post. To change your question, use 'Reply' and Post your modified query or create a new discussion.

You cannot delete your Post. Use 'Report Abuse' option in the right side under Actions and notify moderator to delete it.

Regards,

Kiran

Hi,

Yes. There is no report abuse button ( jus observed, sry ). Choose any reply and report abuse and in that mention to delete your full post ( This is a bad idea).

Check this document http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-28932 which has the list of moderators ofr each space. Go to the moderator profile, find their email and mail them to delete.

PS: As far I knew discussions will not be deleted even by moderators ( your abuse will be rejected )

Regards,

Kiran

If the moderator approves it, it will be visible again.

A few hints

1. Don't hijack an old question. Start your own.

2. If you want a post you've made suppressed say why you want it removed. Simply stating "I want it removed" isn't enough.

Hi Satish,

You can't do changes what you need.

Once you posted your query, its not possible to edit. You can mark your created query as assumed answer and close the thread. create new one.

Post can be removed by moderators only.

Thanks
