All I can say is......Wow.
SAP does have a lot of things covered.
But after having said that let me say that I have seen a lot of things SAP is unable to take care of......
Donno why SAP leaves them to His whishes.

Ravi

CCC01 Indicator for biochemical warfare for legal control
CCC02 Indicator for nuclear nonproliferation for legal control
CCC03 Indicator for national security for legal control
CCC04 Indicator for missile technology for legal control
I just hope they haven't enabled CCC02 for any Iran or North Korea clients, whew !

Foreign Trade is a function of SD (which naturally integrates with AR). It's meant to account for restrictions with shipping materials (i.e., biochemical items) to banned states. This is obsolete functionality now. It's been replaced by GTS (Global Trade Services).
You know how it is in the markets these days... compliance is everything.
From the SMP [GTS Alias|https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/gts]
"SAP Global Trade Services helps companies manage all complexities of international trade. It enables enterprises to automate and streamline complex import and export processes u2013 to ensure full regulatory compliance, expedite customs clearance, take full advantage of international trade agreements, and mitigate the financial risk of global transactions."
